The platform reduces costs and improves access to premium education by directly connecting educators with students and eliminating inefficient and costly intermediaries. Students and other education buyers can easily research and find the perfect curriculum from educators around the World. For educators, it increases their visibility among all education buyers, generates real-time feedback on courses, and pays incentives for development of relevant courses.

ODEM uses artificial intelligence to seamlessly manage complex requests, organizing complete educational programs around the world. Once programs are entered into by students and educators, ODEM smart contracts seamlessly manage payments from beginning to the end of long-term engagements. ODEM is revolutionizing how educators and students plan, connect, and book educational programs.

PROBLEM

Improving accessibility means addressing the challenges that students face in acquiring a great education. We recognize that overcoming obstacles is an important part of growing up. SOLUTION

After assessing higher learning’s weaknesses, our team concluded a solution lies in an On-Demand Education Marketplace, or what we call ODEM. The platform is a single, accessible, and distributed network that allows students to seamlessly interact with professors and their academic partners in-person, onsite, in both local and international settings to raise the quality of accessible education at reasonable cost.

THE ODEM PLATFORM

ODEM.IO is developing a first-of-its-kind global, decentralized education marketplace to deliver complete, end-to-end, custom, in-person education programs and experiences. On-Demand Education Marketplace will be powered by programs deployed on the Ethereum blockchain. The intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence enables an interactive education market that can aggregate student demand for specific course subjects, market educators’ offerings, safely make conditional precommitments, as well as handle payments and disbursements when service criteria are met. These network efficiencies drive down the cost of education while adding a new level of automation and transparency to course creation.

With the ODEM platform, students may choose classes and store their transaction history on the blockchain. Functions and activities performed prior to purchase, like searching for or adding new curriculum will be handled by the off-chain platform.
